“Only after absolute chaos comes absolute silence,” says homicide detective Om Singh aka Arjun Rampal before introducing himself in the bloodshedding thriller ‘London Files‘. The teaser is dropped this Friday on the official YouTube channel of Voot, starring Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli in the pivotal roles.
From the first look it seems that Arjun Rampal is investigating a case of a missing daughter, in a politically divided London city, whose father is a media tycoon, Amar Roy aka Purab Kohli, the victim. Amar is a divisive figure in London due to his support of a stringent anti-immigration bill.
As Om tries to resolve the case, darker secrets of his past unveils, making his emotions intensify as he tries he mask his repressed feelings and truths. ‘London Files’ is a story of “lies, secrets and redemption.” The gripping plot and stellar performances intends to keep the audience on the edge of their seat.
This suspenseful and enigmatic thriller is directed by Sachin Pathak and financed by Jar Pictures. The series is of 6 episodes, will premiere from April 21st only on Voot Select.
The rest of the cast line-up includes stars like Sapna Pabbi, Medha Rana, Gopal Datt, Sagar Arya, and Eva Jane Willis among others in crucial roles.
