Chiyaan Vikram’s long-delayed film ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ is finally getting ready to release in theatres in India. This morning, filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon took to social media to announce the ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ release date in theatres. The spy thriller film premieres in theatres across India on 24th November, 2023.
‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ will mark the first coming together of popular Tamil star Chiyaan Vikram with prolific filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon. Menon has written, directed and produced the film. ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ is a spy thriller, said to be shot in seven countries. It stars Vikram in the lead role, alongside Ritu Varma, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Aishwarya Rajesh, Simran Bagga, R. Parthiepan, Sathish Krishnan, Vinayakan, Arjun Das, Divyadarshini, among others.
The spy film will release in two parts. The first part is titled Dhruva Natchathiram: Chapter 1 – Yuddha Kaandam. Dhruva Natchathiram Chapter 2 doesn’t have a title yet, but is reportedly in the post-production stage. The music for ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ has been composed by Harris Jayaraj. The film is produced by Ondraga Entertainment, Kondaduvom Entertainment, and Escape Artists Motion Pictures.
For those who don’t know, Gautham Vasudev Menon’s ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ has been in development since years. The film was first announced in 2013 with Suriya, but failed to take off then. It has been in production since 2016, but faced hurdles due to financial constrains.
All that seems to be in the past now, with ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ now gearing up for its theatrical release on 24th November. Have a look at the promo video released by the makers today –
