Filmmaker Neeraj Pandey’s latest release was ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu as the leads. He is one of the most trusted filmmakers in India and has given us many wonderful gems in Hindi cinema. But is he going to make a Bengali movie now?
It was not a big deal for Hindi filmmakers in the 50s or 60s to make a film in Bengali but it is not the same now. But there is a possibility of Neeraj Pandey bringing a Bengali Thriller. When he was asked in a recent interview whether he is interested in making a Bengali movie or not, he said that he of course wishes to make one and even has a lead actor in mind.
He says it is Jeet who he thinks is fit for his film and is waiting for his call now. Jeet and the director have reportedly collaborated for the next season in the Netflix thriller ‘Khakee’. It is titled ‘Khakee: The Bengal Chapter’ and Jeet will have an important role. It will be great if he continues to work with Pandey and comes up with a thrilling Bengali movie in one or two years.
