The new teaser of the upcoming Malayalam movie Love Jihad had dropped. The movie is directed by Bash Mohammed and features Suraj Venjaramoodu, Siddique, Lena, Gayathri Arun, Amritha and Josekutty Jacob in lead roles. The second teaser shows Suraj Venjaramoodu having a romantic time with his wife played by Gayathri Arun.
This is the second movie of Bash Mohammed and his first movie is Lukka Chuppi released back in 2015. This movie is indeed his comeback after a long time. His new movie will be discussing the complexities faced between two lovers who is coming from Muslim and Hindu family. He said in a interview about the plot of the title of the movie which was quite controversial in a time as “Jihad simply means struggle and any love affair has a struggle or friction, particularly when it is between two different communities”.
Suraj who is playing an eminent character in the movie is getting a lot of praise since he is exploring different kinds of roles in movies. He is playing as a Police officer in “Jana Gana Mana” and a criminal in “Pathaam Valavu”. The star has an amazing year ahead with a couple of good movies in hand.
Love Jihad’s release date is not officially announced but it is expected to hit theaters on April 2022
