Netflix has released the teaser for the sequel of the critically acclaimed ‘Lust Stories’. With talented directors and actors, Lust Stories 2 looks promising.
The first film released in June 2018 and was appreciated by audiences and critics for its unconventional and creative approach of portraying women and sexuality. It was an anthology of four films directed by four mavericks of the industry, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, and Karan Johar. The cast included actors like Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, Radhika Apte,Bhumi Pednekar, Manisha Koirala, Akash Thosar and Neha Dhupia. It was a big hit and fans have been waiting for a second part for a long time.
Lust Stories 2 too will be a ln anthology of four stories directed by R. Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma, Amit Ravindernath Sharma and Sujoy Ghosh. Konkona Sen Sharma’s story will feature Tillotama Shome and Amruta Subhash while R. Balki’s story will feature Murnal Thakur and Angad Bedi. Mrinal Thakur is having a successful run with films like ‘Seeta Ramam’ and Lust Stories 2 is going to be another feather to her cap. Vijay Verma and Tamannah Bhatia will be seen in the Sujoy Ghosh part and Kajol makes another anticipated OTT appearance with the story directed by Amit Sharma, the director of Badhaai Ho.
The trailer looks pretty amazing with a dark funny vibe, the music is good too. Neena Gupta plays a funny and chill grandma. Mrunal Thakur is amazing as usual. Kajol and Vijay Verma are impressive as well. The series will premiere on the platform on the 29th of June.
