Leading film production company Lyca Productions sprung a midnight surprise on fans of superstar Rajinikanth. Just as the clock struck 12 midnight last night, Lyca Productions unveiled the first look of Rajinikanth in their upcoming film ‘Lal Salaam’. And Rajinikanth’s character in Lal Salaam looks quite unlike any role he’s played until now.
Rajinikanth’s character in Lal Salaam is called Moideen Bhai, and the fan-favorite actor was dressed perfectly for the role, complete with chocolate brown sherwani, maroon cap, dark glasses and salt-n-pepper beard. Lyca Productions accompanied Rajinikanth’s first look with a caption that labelled Rajinikanth’s Moideen Bhai as “Everyone’s favourite Bhai”.

Lal Salaam is being directed by Rajinikanth’s daughter, Aishwarya Rajinikanth. Though Thalaivar’s role is an extended cameo in the film, it is quite obvious that Rajinikanth’s Moideen Bhai will be one of the highlights of Lal Salaam. Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth play lead roles in the film, produced by Lyca Productions. The music of Lal Salaam is being composed by AR Rahman.
