Maddock Films, the production house which gave has given hits like ‘Love Aaj Kal’, ‘Cocktail’, ‘Hindi Medium’, ‘Mimi’, ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’, and many more has unveiled the upcoming line up for it’s much acclaimed horror comedy universe with 8 new titles spanning over next four years from 2025-2028.
This slate includes some already known titles like ‘Thama’, sequels like ‘Bhediya 2’, ‘Stree 3’, and ‘Maha Munjya’, and some new entries such as ‘Shakti Shalini’ and ‘Chamunda’. This series of films is set to culminate in 2028 with a two-part epic saga titled ‘Mahayudh’.
Set to release on Diwali later this year, ‘Thama’, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, is cantered around a vampire storyline stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles alongside Nawazuddin Siddique and Paresh Rawal. On 21st December ,2025, we will get to see ‘Shakti Shalini’ details for which are yet to be unveiled.
For 2026, we have Varun Dhawan starrer ‘Bhediya 2’ coming on 14th August followed by ‘Chamunda’ on 4th December, which according to reports will star Alia Bhatt.
In 2027, we will get to see two sequels, ‘Stree 3’ on 13th August and ‘Maha Munjya’ on 24th December.
It will all conclude with a two part epic saga titled as ‘Pehla Mahayudh’ on 11th August, 2028 and ‘Doosara Mahayudh’ on 18th October, 2028.
Now this definitely looks like pretty ambitious slate from Maddock Films that has it all planned out for now and we hope it all goes according to the extensive timeline.
