The popular Amazon Prime Video series ‘Made In Heaven’ is going to have a new season soon. ‘Made In Heaven’ is created by the wonderful duo Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar. The makers have posted a poster kf the coming season on their social media. The poster shows a bunch of roses fallen in a sandy place. It looks like a broken old house and the roses look wilted and dried. Zoya Akhtar wrote in her post “The weddings, the drama and the chaos are about to get 2X grander.”
‘Made In Heaven’ season 1 had a stellar cast of actors like Arjun Mathur, Sobhita Dhulipala, Kalki Koechlin, Jim Sarbh, Shashank Arora, Shivani Raghuvanshi, and more. The performances and the execution gathered international acclaim. Apart from Zoya Akhtar, some episodes were directed by Alankrita Srivastava, Prashant Nair and Nitya Mehra.
In the nine episodes of the first season, the show told the complicated story of two wedding planners who plan weddings in a time where modernity and traditions are in a regular conflict. It was almost like an anthology of some wedding stories gone wrong. In the two weddings that they arrange, too much disturbance is going on and there is chaos and havoc in relationships. The 2019 series gained huge critical acclaim and fans have been waiting for a second season since then. Probably the actors will be reprising their roles in season 2.
Seems like the wait is finally over. The release dates are not revealed yet but a teaser or trailer will soon be released.
