Good comedies are dead. If you have the same notion then we can’t really blame you. If you see last decade then you would have a hard time remembering which comedies stood out. However, the 2000s had a great number of films that were actually funny. However, Madgaon Express is a breath of fresh comedy.
“Madgaon Express” is a movie full of laughs that tells the tale of three friends and their crazy journey. Directed by popular comedy actor Kunal Khemu and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, the film stars Divyenndu, Pratik Gandhi, Avinash Tiwary, Nora Fatehi, Upendra Limaye, and Chhaya Kadam.
The story begins in Mumbai in 1998, where three buddies – Dhanush, Pratik, and Ayush – dream of going to Goa after their exams. But their plans always go wrong. Years later, while Pratik and Ayush become successful, Dhanush struggles. To impress them, Dhanush pretends to live a lavish life on social media. When his friends decide to visit him in Mumbai, Dhanush panics and suggests they finally go to Goa.
But instead of flying, they end up on a train called the Madgaon Express. On the way, they meet some strange characters, including dangerous criminals. The hilarious journey is full of twists and turns that keep you laughing.
Rest of the things you should explore yourself while watching. The movie is actually very good as critics and audience poured equal love on it. If you are interested in the movie then it is streaming on Prime Video. But you would have to spend a lot of money to watch Madgaon Express as it is available for rent. Yes, the usual Prime Video crap.
Wait for another 2-3 weeks and you can enjoy it on Prime Video itself without any rent.
