Prime Video has just dropped an interesting new teaser for its upcoming original film ‘Maja Ma’. The Madhuri Dixit starrer has drummed up a lot of buzz in the past week, ever since Prime Video launched the peppy garba number from the film. The Maja Ma teaser released today is sure to amp up the hype even more, courtesy the suspicious goings-on in the teaser.
The Maja Ma teaser reveals the basic premise of the film. Madhuri Dixit plays a wife and mother, blessed with an enthusiastic zest for life. Things take a dubious turn when her son, played by Ritwik Bhowmik (Bandish Bandits), expresses his love for a rich NRI girl (Barkha Singh). The teaser hints that the otherwise loving mother might put a spanner in the works, jeopardising her son’s shot at marital bliss. How? We all will have to wait for ‘Maja Ma’ to release on Prime Video to find out about that, we guess.
The ‘Maja Ma’ teaser also promises that the trailer of the film will release tomorrow on Prime Video’s social media handles. ‘Maja Ma’ premieres on Prime Video on October 6. Watch the beauteous Madhuri Dixit play a well-meaning mother, who unwittingly becomes a hurdle in her son’s marriage plans. The film also stars Gajraj Rao, Ritwik Bhowmik, Barkha Singh, Srishti Shrivastava, Rajit Kapur, Sheeba Chaddha, Simone Singh, Malhar Thakar, and Ninad Kamat. Maja Ma is directed by Anand Tiwari.
