There is fantastic news for fans of one of the most proficient Indian actresses of all time – Madhuri Dixit and regarding her much-anticipated maiden OTT outing on the Netflix streaming platform. Netflix India has just announced that Madhuri Dixit’s upcoming Netflix web series ‘The Fame Game’ (which was earlier titled ‘Finding Anamika’) is all set to start streaming on Netflix from 25th February onwards.

In the Netflix series ‘The Fame Game’, Madhuri Dixit will be essaying the role of a superstar called Anamika Anand. The Netflix post has aptly described the show as “There’s more to a superstar’s life than what meets the camera. Anamika Anand’s life unfolds soon.”
In ‘The Fame Game’, real-life acclaimed actress Madhuri Dixit plays a reel life superstar in this upcoming mystery drama with a captivating premise. In her OTT debut, Madhuri Dixit ostensibly plays a renowned actress and a mother of two who suddenly disappears leaving no apparent leads. Thereafter, some uncomfortable and unknown truths are revealed during the course of the investigation. The show also features Sanjay Kapoor and Manav Kaul alongside Madhuri Dixit in important roles.
Created by Sri Rao and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment, ‘The Fame Game’ has been set in an eight-episode format and has been directed by Bejoy Nambiar and Karishma Kohli.
Bejoy Nambiar, who had made his feature film directorial debut with the stylishly executed crime thriller ‘Shaitan’ went on to direct films such as ‘David’, ‘Wazir’, ‘Taish’ and an episode of the ‘Navarasa’ series. While Karishma Kohli had previously helmed series like ‘The Reunion’, and ‘Mentalhood’.
