Interestingly, Mahesh Bhatt is producing this series himself. It is a highly awaited series that went on floors in February 2020 itself. But due to the obvious reasons for the covid-19 pandemic, the shooting was halted. But finally, it has been announced with the release date.
Ranjish Hi Sahi is the name of the series and people know it better as a Mehandi Hasan song. But it looks like things will change.
Just 3 days back, Voot Select released the teaser of the series and now they have come up with the release date.
Earlier as well, Mahesh Bhatt directed a film called Arth. It was a masterpiece musical from the golden era of parallel cinema. That movie is also said to be based on his affair with Parveen Babi.
Mind you, she was one of those women who changed Bollywood in its entirety due to her boldness and unprecedented way of working.
Regardless, in an official announcement, Voot has made it clear that the series will release on 13th January onwards.
