National Award winning Director VC Abhilash for his maiden feature film Aalorukkam (2018) released his second film titled ‘Sabaash Chandra Bose‘ recently. This comedy drama starring Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Johny Antony in major roles was received with positive reception and is now finally available at the streaming. The film is streaming on Amazon Prime Video now.
Sabaash Chandrabose follows the life of Chandrabose, who always visits his close friend and neighbour Yatindran’s house to watch television as he doesn’t own one. Things take a turn when Chandra storms out of Yatindran’s house, swearing that he would get his own colour television after the duo has a fallout.
V.C. Abhilash has also penned the script and lyrics for the comedy drama that revolves around obstacles Chandrabose faces and the desperate measures Chandra takes to acquire a television. VC Abhilash’s second feature film is very much a deviation from his first film which was more serious in execution. This light hearted comedy drama is definitely a mood lifter.
Sabaash Chandrabose’s cinematography is done by Sajith Purushan. Jaffer Idukki, Darmajan Bolgatty, Irshad, Sudhi Koppa, Kottayam Ramesh, Sreeja Das and Remya Suresh etc co-star Johny Antony and Vishnu Unnikrishnan.
