Malayalam film ‘Heaven‘ released in theatres on June 17. Though the film was not very successful at the box office, it received accolades and acclaim for its gripping story and twisty murder mystery at the heart of the film. Many called it the finest work done by stellar Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu.
Now that it’s been more than 45 days that the film released in theatres, it’s time for ‘Heaven’ to release on OTT. We at Binged have brought you definite information on the OTT release date and streaming platform for Heaven.
Streaming behemoth Disney Plus Hotstar has bought the post-theatrical streaming rights for ‘Heaven’. So the Malayalam film will stream only on Disney Plus Hotstar and on no other platform. Disney Plus Hotstar has not announced a streaming date for Heaven yet. But our sources inform us that the film will stream on the platform from August 19.
Heaven stars Suraj Venjaramoodu, Sminu Sijo, Sudev Nair, Vinaya Prasad, Alencier Ley Lopez, Jaffer Idukki, Sudheesh, Joy Mathew and Abhija Sivakala in pivotal roles. The film has written and directed by Unni Govindraj. P.S. Subramanian is the co-writer of Heaven.
Heaven stars Suraj Venjaramoodu as a Circle Inspector of Police, Peter Kurishinkal, a stoic and taciturn officer, who prefers brain over brawn to solve his cases. His world is brought upside down when he is assigned a sensational murder case to solve.
