The ‘Kaathal’ OTT release date was disclosed by none other than Mammootty himself, on his social media handles. Mammootty and Jyothika play husband – wife in Kaathal: The Core. The film follows Matthew (Mammootty), as he embarks on a political journey as a left-wing independent candidate in the elections. The story has a strong homosexuality angle to it, which we won’t reveal here.
Kaathal: The Core has been directed by Jeo Baby, of The Great Indian Kitchen fame. Adarsh Sukumaran and Paulson Skaria have written the script of Kaathal. Besides Mammootty and Jyothika, Malayalam film Kaathal: The Core stars Jisshu Sengupta, Muthumani, Joji John, among others, in pivotal roles. The film is produced by Mammootty under his production banner, Mammootty Kampany.
