Here is some good news for you if you are a fan of Malayalam movies. The 2023 Malayalam thriller ‘O Baby’ is now streaming on OTT. It is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video now.
The movie tells the story of a traditional family where everything is suddenly perturbed by the actions of a caretaker’s son. There is a bond of submission and respect formed between the family of the caretaker and the owners. But the caretaker is put under a huge conflict when his son refuses to yield to the owners and pay them the due respect. He is influenced by woke culture and does not want to be submissive as his forefathers.
The movie is two hours long and is a nice movie for a one-time-watch. It is written and directed by filmmaker Ranjan Pramod and stars actors like Dileesh Pothan, Raghunath Paleri, Ranjan Pramod, Haniya Nafisa, Devadath V. S, Saji Soman and many others. The performances are good and the storytelling unfolds in a nice way. Dileesh Pothan’s performance was Lauded by fans and critics. There are some shortcomings in the script but the story is a really powerful one. The raw vibe of Kerala soil will be felt every now and then.
The cinematography is handled by Arun Chalil and he has done a beautiful job. The music is given by composers like Varun Krishna, Pranav Das, Lijin Bambino.
