Mammootty’s ‘Rorschach’ Release Date In Theatres Out!

Malayalam superstar Mammootty‘s much-awaited next film ‘Rorschach’ finally has a release date in the theatres. ‘Rorschach’ releases in cinemas worldwide on October 7, which is next Friday.

This morning, Mammootty’s ‘Rorschach‘ also received its censor certification. The film has been given a U/A certification, in keeping with its dark theme. ‘Rorschach’ is said to be a psychological thriller, with stylised action a part of it. The trailer implies supernatural elements, what with a character in the trailer mentioning that the dead return to finish their unfinished business.

Mammootty plays an enigmatic character called Luke Antony, who has businesses in Dubai, and has returned from the UK for a specific task. The plot of ‘Rorschach’ hints at a revenge thriller with hefty doses of mystery. The final shot of the trailer of ‘Rorschach’ shows Mammootty’s character institutionalised in what seems to be a mental asylum.

‘Rorschach’ is directed by Nisam Basheer of Kettyolaanu Ente Malakha fame. It is written by Sameer Abdul, and produced by Mammootty himself, under his production banner, Mammootty Kampany. ‘Rorschach’ stars Mammootty in the lead, along with Sharafudeen, Grace Antony, Kottayam Nazeer, Jagadish, Sanju Sivram and Bindu Panicker in supporting roles.
