Director Vysakh, known for his blockbuster hits like ‘Pulimurugan’ and ‘Pokkiri Raja’, is set to rendezvous with the legend Mammootty for his new action comedy venture, Turbo for which fans have been waiting for updates with bated breath. Now officially slated for a glorious worldwide release on May 9th, 2024, fans are waiting to see what Mammootty’s Turbo Peter has in store for them.
As per updates shared online, the team have completed necessary contractual obligations with theatres and have sorted out the chartings globally. Turbo is not just a convening between Mamootty and Vysakh, but also has the bragging rights for appointing Midhun Manuel Thomas who is previously known for his flamboyant work for Abraham Ozler, Anjaam Pathira and such, as the man behind the screenplay.
Initially thought to be a sequel to Mamootty’s hit classic Kottayam Kunjachan, reports have now confirmed this is a standalone flick, guaranteed to deliver an action filled humour packed experience, akin to Mammootty’s cult hit performances in Pokkiri Raja, Rajamanikkam and so on.
