Amazon Prime Video has released the trailer of its upcoming Kannada film ‘Man Of The Match’ from late Puneeth Rajkumar and it’s a truly unique film in every sense. Helmed by D Satya Prakash, ‘Man Of The Match’ will premiere only on Amazon Prime Video on 5th May, 2022.
The trailer begins with a film set where artists have poured in to audition for various roles. But there’s one man, dressed like Mahatma Gandhi, who isn’t there for a role in the film rather to seek a job as the assistant director for the project.
The director then tells the assembled artists about the film’s story where a rich guy falls in love with a poor girl. There marriage gets fixed and now all of them need to break it off. But what follows makes one witness the birth of a next genre.
Turns out the director’s concept for the film is to make a movie by creating conflicts between the artists who have come in to audition. He troubles and tortures them through various means for his gain and when questioned about the ethics, gets all hyper and bossy. What follows is a chaotic sequence of events with an underlying theme of endless war between the truth and the deceit.
As per Amazon Prime Video, ‘Man Of The Match’ is a story of a director calling for an audition and making a movie out of it by creating conflicts between the artists who attend the audition.
