Not a big budget, not a big star cast and definitely not big promotions. But, can these factors stop a great film from getting the love it deserves? Hell yeah. But, not all the time.
Thankfully, these factors didn’t limit the reception of Manjummel Boys. The movie not only turned out to be an insane blockbuster at the Kerala Box Office but the overall reception at Disney+Hotstar is just amazing.
People all across the nation are just loving the film and the part where they give tribute to Kamal Hassan is attracting a lot of attention.
Manjummel Boys has easily been one of the most sought after OTT releases in recent times. The movie was in high demand, with high rumours and a lot of speculation before the official date was announced.
The movie has a huge cast that includes Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, Ganapathi S. Poduval, Lal Jr., Deepak Parambol, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Arun Kurian, Khalid Rahman and Shebin Benson. Chidambaram wrote and directed the movie.
Regardless, people are in awe of the visuals, story and especially the climax. Malayalam cinema has once again proved why they are the finest film industry in the country.
