The first look of Manoj Bajpayee’s ‘Bandaa’ is out now. The black and white poster features the actor in a pretty intense look sporting glasses and locked fingers near the face. ‘Bandaa’ is going to be a courtroom drama and will have many other talented actors as its cast.
Suparn S. Verma, writer of magnificent screenplays like ‘The Family Man’, ‘Zameen’, ‘Hasmukh’, ‘Qayamat: City Under Threat’ has written the script of ‘Bandaa’. The movie is being produced by Bhanushali Studios and co-produced by Zee Studios.
‘Bandaa’ will be the debut Hindi feature film of director Apoorv Singh Karki. Apoorva is famous for creating many well known web series like ‘Flames’, ‘College Romance’, ‘Aspirants’, ‘Saas Bahu Aachar Pvt. Ltd.’, ‘Engineering Girls’ and others. He is one of the strongest forces behind the unprecedented success of a startup like TVF. His stories are connected to reality, easy to relate and often catch the nerve associated with the audiences’ nostalgia. Now we will have to wait to see what Apoorv Singh Karki can direct with such an institution of acting like Manoj Bajpayee on board.
Shooting in Jodhpur and Mumbai has been completed and the total shoot will be wrapped in a few days. Nothing much about the plot has been revealed till now, all we know is that ‘Bandaa’ will be the story of a determined lawyer who fights against all odds for justice. And Manoj Bajpayee is playing that lawyer. Rest of the cast and other details will hopefully be revealed soon enough. Stay tuned for further information.
