The first song from Manoj Bajpayee’s upcoming movie ‘Bhaiyya Ji’ is finally out. The movie releases in theatres across India on 24th May, 2024. The song, titled ‘Baagh Ka Kareja’, was initially supposed to be released yesterday, on the occasion of Manoj Bajpayee’s birthday. However, the makers just dropped a teaser for ‘Baagh Ka Kareja’, promising to reveal the song today.
The title of the just-released first song from Bhaiyya Ji, ‘Baagh Ka Kareja’, essentially means “guts/gumption/ferociousness like a tiger”. The song’s thumping beats and intriguing lyrics are catchy and entertaining. More than the song, though, what really catches attention is Manoj Bajpayee’s explosive avatar in the movie. After a long time, fans of the actor have gotten to watch Manoj Bajpayee in a violent, badass role, a la Satya and Gangs Of Wasseypur.
For a long time now, Manoj Bajpayee has been essaying soft characters, embellished with hints of humour, intelligence or poignancy. The Family Man, Gulmohar, Silence, Bandaa Bhonsale, among others, are a few of the stellar actor’s recent projects. But with Bhaiyya Ji, Manoj Bajpayee is returning to his badass roots; and fans are gonna love it!
Bhaiyya Ji is a revenge drama, set in 2014 in Bihar. It is directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, and produced by Vinod Bhanushali as well as Manoj Bajpayee. The movie will mark the reunion of star Manoj Bajpayee, director Apoorv Singh Karki and producer Vinod Bhanushali after their critically acclaimed film OTT film Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai.
Besides lead actor Manoj Bajpayee, Bhaiyya Ji stars Vipin Sharma, Jatin Goswami, Suvinder Vicky, among others, in pivotal roles.
