Acclaimed Marathi horror comedy film ‘Zombivli’ is all set for its digital debut on Zee5. Helmed by Aditya Sarpotdar, ‘Zombivli’ will premiere only on Zee5 on 20th May, 2022.
Set in Dombivali, Mumbai, ‘Zombivli’ is a zombie comedy drama that tells the story of class divide through Sudheer and Seema, a happily married middle class couple and Vishwas, a slum dweller. The film is about how their lives collide when they together face the zombies in their locality.
Written by Mahesh Iyer and directed by Aditya Sarpotdar (‘Classmates’, ‘The Raikar Case’, ‘Faster Fene’), ‘Zombivli’ stars Amey Wagh, Vaidehi Parashurami, Lalit Prabhakar, Trupti Khamkar and Janaki Pathak among others. Sidhhesh Purkar, Sainath Ganuwad, Mahesh Iyer and Yogesh Vinayak Joshi have given the screenplay for the film.
Announcing the digital premiere of ’Zombivli’ with a poster of the film on social media Zee5 wrote,

The film’s official synopsis reads, “In the suburban neighborhood of Mumbai a wall separates the haves and the have-nots. Sudhir and Seema, a newly married middle class couple, live a life without hardship while Vishwas, a slum dweller, dreams of dignity for his people. Their lives collide as post nightfall the town fills up with ominous cries and moans that don’t belong to people – they belong to zombies.”
