Mark Ruffalo will next be seen in a family drama after Yorgos Lanthimos’ ‘Poor Things’ and ‘Migration’. It will be a web series and the title is ‘Hal & Harper’. The show will star other actors like Havana Rose Liu and Lili Reinhart, Addison Timlin and many others.
The show will be directed by Cooper Raiff, who is well known for directing and also starring ‘Cha Cha Real Smooth’. Cooper will star in Hal & Harper as well.
The show will tell the story of a weird father who wants his kids to grow up extremely fast. The children are made to grow actually fast and the kids who are nine and seven years old are played by adult actors. Most probably Reinhart and Raiff will be playing the characters of Harper and Hal, respectively. And Mark Ruffalo will play their father. The details are yet to be revealed. Cooper announced this project in an 2020 interview and for some time, it had been stuck in the SAG-AFTRA strikes.
Mark Ruffalo is having quite a great year with magnificent movies like ‘Poor Things’ where he shares screen with Emma Stone and Willem Dafoe; and also the historical drama ‘Migration’.
It is an independent production and Cooper Raiff has made quite a name with his projects. Fans are excited to have something more from him. The idea looks promising and there is no doubt it is very original. Hal & Harper is listed as produced by Bad Bangs LLC. The release dates and other details will soon be announced.
