“Marvel”, a superhero world joined hands with the world of cinemas to form the very renowned MCU, the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A world that has mesmerized people all around irrespective of their age and gender. A world is full of superheroes, missions, deadly villains, and amazing bonds and adventure. Marvel creates it all. A Disney+ original, to be premiered on Disney+ Hotstar “Marvel 616” is to be released on the 20th of November.
An anthology documentary series, it will show us what basically goes on in the great minds that make those genius, extraordinary superheroes. The show will have 8 episodes and each episode will have one remarkable creator that has contributed in making the Marvel universe what it is today. The series will follow the journeys of creators, artists, comic strip makers, animation artists, and everyone that is needed in a Marvel movie. The series will also show the genius women that have been a part of this journey and continue to contribute with their genius abilities in creating such masterpieces.
The series will show us some long lost characters that either didn’t get picked up for the cinematic universe and also some characters that we lost along this journey. This series will offer a lot more like how the movies and comics have affected lives all around the world for the good and has also managed to give people hope and happiness. These movies and shows that have been part of the MCU have also culturally and socially changed the lives of people like bringing up fanfiction, cosplaying and so much more that it seems to be here for a long long time now. We almost are looking at a legacy right now and being a part of that legacy.
The series has been created for Disney+ by David Gelb and produced by Amanda Rohike, Sarah Regan, Juliette Eisner. This series will help to bring the hardworking, talented people that create the superheroes for us to the forefront and give them a better appreciation and show the world who they are.
This will be an interesting series to watch out for as the people in it are the reason today we have Avengers Assembling and the Agents of Shield working and the Defenders defending the world.
