As the studio is now attempting to expand the franchise, we can definitely expect some new faces, and there is one Marvel star who wants to take a piece of this.
Meanwhile, Anthony Mackie made some remarks about the role.
Mackie says, though in a sarcastic way, that he has requested Keanu Reeves to consider him for John Wick 5 or 6.
“I’m really trying to get Keanu Reeves to consider me for John Wick 5 or 6. I think that will make me a cool dad if I had, like, a five-minute fight scene with Keanu Reeves. I’m gonna put up a fight! Samoa Joe punched me in the face in this and I did not go down!”
Talking about Mackie, he previously made some remarks regarding the creative process of Marvel, and for a change, he might appreciate the Wick franchise and also get more limelight and appreciation.
Regarding John Wick 5, there is very little update about the future of the franchise, and it is being said that the film is in early development. After the fourth installment, Wick might be given some rest, and the studio can focus on expanding the franchise.
Will Anthony Mackie be involved? He might give it a witty touch, which is always a good shout for action films to inject that dose of wit.
