A post credits teaser for ‘Citadel: Diana‘ had been released at the final episode of the first season. Prime Video has posted the teaser officially only today. It was announced a few days back that the new season of Prime Video’s ambitious action espionage thriller will be named ‘Citadel: Diana’ and it will have Italian actress Matilda De Angelis in the lead role. Now Prime Video has announced that Mason and Nadia will be back for the second season.
The teaser features Matilda and many other actors. The spin-off will expand the universe of Citadel and go deeper into the espionage missions of the spies. Actors like Lorenzo Cervasio, Maurizio Lombardi, Julia Piaton, Thekla Reuten, Daniele Paoloni, Bernhard Schütz, and Filippo Nigro are also in the show. But the big news is, Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra are returning in ‘Citadel: Diana’. The first season received mixed reviews, but the chemistry between Mason and Nadia was quite admired. It will be great to have them back in the new season.
The post credits teaser is well cut and has tremendous action-packed scenes. It intrigues the viewers, involves them and makes them curious about what is going on. It has Matilda and her team chasing goons, having gunfights, hand-to-hand combats, car chasing and jumping off huge buildings… all this while wonderful music keeps playing in the background. The show is directed by Italian filmmaker Arnaldo Catinari and produced by Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Mike Larocca, Gina Gardini and others. Itbis developed by Alessandro Fabbri.
‘Citadel: Diana’ will be premiering next year but the release date is not revealed yet. Fans are excited for more updates and it looks like Citadel: Diana will be a huge banger.
