It is about a con man Matsya (Ravii Dubey) and his Kaand (criminal act). MX Player is infamous for producing soft porn content with substandard quality. That’s the sole reason, people are not attracted to it even after it is available to stream for free.
Recently we have seen that a lot of movies and series get a rating of 9.5 or something close to that out of nowhere. Last year when Scam 1992 got such ratings then it attracted even a bigger audience towards it and set a new benchmark for success.
Even Soorarai Pottru became the highest-rated movie and it helped Prime Video immensely to market it more. There is no doubt about the fact that lately, IMDb was used by people as a means of trust.

Apart from the ratings, Matsya Kaand also claims to have made another record. It claims that it is the most-watched Hindi series in 2021.
The series is filled with some spectacular visuals especially featuring Ravii Dubey. His makeup as he shifts from one identity to another is better and convincing than many Bollywood movies that we have seen in recent years.
