Well-received Max original series ‘Tokyo Vice’ is soon returning with its new season 2. Tokyo Vice Season 2 premieres on Max in the US on 8th February, 2024. Two episodes of the series will release at premiere, while the rest will stream in the one-episode per week format. Tokyo Vice comprises ten episodes in its new season.

The new season of Tokyo Vice will stream on Lionsgate Play in India from 16th February onwards, which is more than one week later than its US premiere. Tokyo-centred crime drama Tokyo Vice enjoyed good viewership and earned praise from critics and audiences alike. The series follows American journalist Jake Adelstein (Ansel Elgort), as he reports first-hand on the seedy underbelly of the Tokyo crime scene. Toyko Vice is loosely inspired by real-life journalist Jake Adelstein’s first-hand account of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police beat, as he covered the Tokyo crime scene along with veteran detective Hiroto Katagiri. Japanese actor Ken Watanabe plays the detective in Tokyo Vice.
Ansel Elgort, Ken Watanabe, Rinko Kikuchi, Rachel Keller, Show Kasamatsu, Ayumi Ito, among others, return to reprise their roles in Tokyo Vice Season 2. New cast members include Yosuke Kubozuka and Miki Maya.
