Bejoy Nambiar’s Taish is an upcoming revenge drama on Zee5. Taish will be released both as a film and a six-part web series on October 29. The lead cast for Taish includes Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda, Jim Sarbh and Harshvardhan Rane. The film is being presented by EasyMyTrip and Gateway Pictures and is a Crayons Film Production.
While the dialogue-less teaser for Zee5‘s Taish is out, nothing much can be said other than that there’s going to be full on suspense, drama and action. Director Nambiar said that Taish is a test of human emotions, to fight the odds stacked against us. The movie is a revenge drama about two families and an incident that ignited a storm.

Bejoy Nambiar – Director
Nambiar is an unconventional and amazing story-teller who made his feature film début with a black comedy crime-thriller ‘Shaitan’ in 2011. He later made ‘David’ (2013) – a bilingual gangster comedy and Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar starrer ‘Wazir’ (2016). In 2017 he made ‘Solo’ featuring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role. Going by his previous work and the teaser, Taish on Zee5 makes for gripping and exciting watch.
Pulkit Samrat –
Pulkit Samrat will play the role of ‘Sunny’, Rohan’s friend who is also a big time flirt. He is a perfect friend one can ever want but there is this hidden violent side of him that is hell bent on taking revenge from Kuljinder who tormented his friend Rohan years ago. He has plans and won’t rest until he makes it all workout.
Kriti Kharbanda –
The houseful actress will be seen in the role of ‘Arfa Khan’, a rebellious young women from a conservative Pakistani family. To avoid constant arguments with her parents she moves out of the house at an early age. Arfa is studying in a school to become an orthopaedic surgeon where she meets a comparatively introvert Rohan and always stands by him.
Jim Sharab –
Jim Sharab will be essaying the role of ‘Rohan Kalra’, a general physician. He is quiet, introvert, shy and a thinker more than a doer. Expressing what he feels is a mammoth task for him. He and Sunny were roammates in London until Sunny went on to pursue his entrepreneurial dream. Rohan and Arfa are very close and share a special bond. Arfa is overprotective about Rohan and does not like people who make him feel bad.
Harshvardhan Rane –
Sanam Teri Kasam actor, will play the role of ‘Pali’ who battled depression and bankruptcy while his father’s business was going down. Pali’s stepbrother Kuljinder brings him into the business where something illegal is going on but Pali is a person with some moral codes. He knows he cannot be ruthless and violent like his stepbrother. While Pali always wanted a normal life free of violence and danger with Jahaan, his blind trust on his brother and his loyalty could make him even sacrifice her.
Saloni Batra –
Saloni will essay the role of ‘Sanobar’ who got married at a young age of 21 and moved to UK from Punjab. She brings her sister Jahaan there for further studies. She also has a five year old daughter. Sanobar tries to protect her sister from her cruel husband Kuljinder.
Sanjeeda Sheikh –
Sanjeeda will be seen as Jahaan who comes to UK for studies and starts working at Kuljinder’s shop. She gets hurt when she finds out that Kuljinder wants to marry her despite being married to her sister. Impassive response from Pali and Sanobar hurts her even more and when she discovers that Pali has left her and all this was created by Sanobar herself, she agrees to marry Kuljinder. Though she continues her relationship with Pali post marriage, his anger, after he gets arrested, scares her.
Abhimanyu Singh –
Abhimanyu essays the role of Kuljinder who betrayed his uncle and took over his business. He is overprotective for his stepbrothers and was the king of the business. Despite being married to Sanobar, he wants to marry her sister and manipulates her to convince Jahaan for the marriage.
Arman Khera –
Arman Khera will be seen as Jassi who is a spoilt kid with easy access to drugs and was always protected by Pali. After Pali’s arrest, Jassi takes over but lacks Pali’s vision and competence. He cares for Sanober and considers her as his own mother. He feels responsible for Kuli’s attack.
Ankur Rathee –
Ankur will play the role of Krish Kalra, Rohan’s brother. Krish grew up admiring Rohan who was very protective of him. Krish also considers Sunny as brother since the day he fought for him. Krish is a carefree man who fell in love with Mahi whom he met in college.
Zoa Morani –
Zoa plays the role of Mahi who belongs to a small family and is intimidated by the grandeur and aura of Krish’s family. Despite not liking lavish weddings she surprises herself and Krish be asking for one. She gets angry at Krish’s reaction on inviting her ex to the wedding.
