Fans have been waiting to see Karthi and Arvind Swamy together since they announced a film together. Now the release date of the movie is revealed. ‘Meiyazhagan’ will be hitting the theaters on the 27th day of September.
‘Meiyazhagan’ is written and directed by C. Prem Kumar and is produced by Jyothika and Suriya. The plot of the movie is not clear yet and the makers have not revealed much on the subject. A few posters have been released and it looks like the movie might revolve around the popular and controversial sport of Jallikattu. In two of the posters, Karthi is seen posing with a bull, in one of them he is pampering it. In another poster, Karthi is seen sitting behind the cycle that Arvind Swamy is pulling. It might be that ‘Meiyazhagan’ is an action drama, but it has high chances of being a light hearted feel good movie as well. ‘Meiyazhagan’ means ‘sweetheart’.
Apart from having Karthi and Arvind Swamy in the leading roles, there will also be actors like Rajkiran, Devadharshini, Ilavarasu in important roles. The cinematography of the movie is handled by Mahendiran Jayaraju and the music is given by Govind Vasantha.
Karthi will next be seen in‘Sardar 2’, ‘Vaa Vaathiyar’, ‘Kaithi 2’ and the actor seems to have several other movies up the pipeline. Fans are excited for the release of Meiyazhagan. It is to be released on the 27th of September.
