Mere Desh Ki Dharti, a new movie has been announced. It stars Divyendu Sharma, Anupriya Goenka and Anant Vidhaat playing the lead roles.
In the official poster, we can clearly see that the makers are not in the mood to let Munna Bhaiya pass. Munna Bhaiya needs no introduction, as he is one of the most iconic characters from Indian shows.
The Mirzapur character is well known for his swag, inhumane nature and rowdy attitude. Divyendu Sharma can be easily seen in his same spectacles and Gamchha around his neck as Munna Bhaiya does.
We saw a similar thing in the upcoming film Jersey. Even there the makers are putting every effort that could be made to make Shahid look closer to Kabir Singh.
Regardless, today is national farmer’s day and this film is announced on that occasion only. We can see farmlands and tractors in the official poster.
Faraz Haider will be directing this film. A very short motion poster is also released in which we can see Divyendu Sharma with a bundle bag on his shoulders. Sukhwinder Singh can be heard singing the title phrase Mere Desh Ki Dharti in the same announcement.
It looks as if the film will be based on the condition of farmers. As of now, we are not sure what this film brings out but it would be great to see something new instead of a tried and tested formula.
