Mimi’s “Param Sundari” Is Zooming Past Records On The Charts!

Mimi’s “Param Sundari” Is Zooming Past Records On The Charts!

Kriti Sanon’s “Mimi” has been trending continuously ever since its announcement. From Mimi’s poster release, to teaser release, to trailer release, everything has received massive support from fans. Along with all these, Mimi’s new song “Param Sundari” dropped yesterday, and ever since that it has been the talk of the town. Mimi for sure has turned out to be a movie that everyone is expecting to hit them with its greatness.

Coming back to the song from “Mimi”, titled “Param Sundari”, it has achieved an amazing feat. The song within 24 hours has racked up over 15 million views and is now trending No. 3 on YouTube India’s trending list and No. 14 on YouTube India’s Music list. The song had already crossed the 12 million views mark last night by 6 p.m. Breaching the 15 million views mark is not an easy task, at least during these days. Along with the views, the music video has also received 2.5 lakhs.

The song is composed and arranged by the music maestro A.R. Rahman and singer Shreya Ghoshal, in her beautiful voice, have sung the song, bringing justice to every inch of A. R. Rahman has produced. The fun lyrics are written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, who has written lyrics for famous songs like “Iktara”, “Manmarziyan”, “Ankahee”, “Tera Rastaa Chhodoon Na”, and so many more.

The combination of A.R. Rahman and Shreya Ghoshal is a breath-taking combination. The duo has come together for many Tamil hits for A.R. Rahman. Besides, Shreya Ghoshal and A.R. Rahman has also teamed up for Bollywood songs like “Saans” from Jab Tak Hai Jaan, “Tu Meri Dost Hai” from Yuvvraj, “Barso Re” from Guru, “Taare Gin” from Dil Bechara, “Banarasiya” from Raanjhanaa and many others. Recently, they collaborated on A. R. Rahman’s “99 Songs” for the song “Aagaya Neelangalil”.

Fans and viewers are hailing this duo and more so because of the song’s catchy vibes and lyrics and the perfect “thumkas” from the beautiful Kriti Sanon. Also, this song comes in like a breath of fresh air for Bollywood music lovers. For quite a while, Bollywood has been all about old classics remixes and “modifying” Punjabi songs with rap. While this isn’t anything like that, the song feels like the classic Bollywood dance number that can make your foot tap easily.

We have already witnessed the maestro’s magic with Mimi before. The background music Mimi’s motion poster had was soulful and complemented what was going on in the poster. With “Param Sundari”, it just gets an even bigger approval that, A. R. Rahman has planned great things in terms of music for Mimi.

Now, with the music in the perfect hands, and an amazing story, and classic Kriti Sanon and Pankaj Tripathi in the lead, the fans are waiting for a killer movie to enjoy. The wait for the movie will be over on 30th July, as it streams on Netflix and Jio Cinemas.
