Amazon Prime Video India has dropped the trailer for the second season of ‘Mind The Malhotras’ and things are getting weirder this time in the Malhotra family. Helmed by Sahil Sangha, ‘Mind The Malhotras’ season two will premiere only on Amazon Prime Video India on 12th August, 2022.
‘Mind The Malhotras’ trailer begins with Rishabh (Cyrus Sahukar) and Shefali (Mini Mathur) trying to spice up their sex life with some role play which does not always turn out the way they want. Outside the bedroom too more and more weird situations pop up in the Malhotra family such as Shefali catches her daughter Jia (Anandita Pagnis) with her boyfriend in her room.
While Rishabh is handling the merger of his company his personal life too gets into a mix with the entry of one Rishabh Jain (Samir Kochhar). He happens to be Shefali’s ex boyfriend who has now become their new neighbour, turning on the jealousy factor.
Both Rishabh and Shefali are also seeing Dr. Gulfam (Denzil Smith), a therapist to ease their minds and get help but haven’t told each other about it. And it’s during these sessions they reveal secrets they haven’t even told each other like Rishabh’s mom dating someone without his knowledge. Not just this, a lot more is going on in the Malhotra family where weirdness seems to have no limits.
As per the official synopsis, in ‘Mind The Malhotras’ season 2 Rishabh works on a merger that will make him a millionaire. But as Shefali embarks on a career as an online chef and begins to rack up followers, the demands of being a family clash with individual goals. Rishabh and Shefali need therapy more than ever. Chaos ensues when rather than acknowledging this, they seek out Dr. Gulfam behind each other’s back.
Directed by Sahil Sangha, ‘Mind The Malhotras’ season two has Cyrus Sahukar, Mini Mathur, Denzil Smith, Nikki Sharma, Anandita Pagnis, Sushmita Mukherjee, Rahul Verma and Jason D’souza returning to reprise their roles. Some new members joining the cast this season are Samir Kochhar, Dalip Tahil and Maria Goretti among others.
‘Mind The Malhotras’ season two is produced by Applause Entertainment in association with Madiba Entertainment. The first season is currently available to watch for free on Amazon miniTV in the he Amazon shopping app and season two of ‘Mind The Malhotras’ will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video India on 12th August, 2022.
