This week, the Asian Academy Creative Awards announced the National winners for 2022. The National winners from each country go on to compete at the finale awards event, when the overall Asian winners are announced. For those who don’t know, the Asian Academy Creative Awards is a prestigious Asia-centric awards event. The Awards recognise excellence in the film and television industry across 16 nations in the Asia-Pacific region, including India, Australia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, among others.
The National Winners in each category are as good as the nominations for the Asian Academy Creative Awards finals that will take place in the first week of December in Singapore. This year, it’s almost a clean sweep by Netflix India and Prime Video India for the Indian National winners list. Even more significantly, Netflix’s Malayalam superhero film ‘Minnal Murali‘ has bagged three wins all of its own, the most by an Indian content.
Other than Minnal Murali, shows like Mai, Panchayat, House Of Secrets: The Burari Deaths, Human, and more, have bagged maximum wins.
Have a look at the National winners from India at the Asian Academy Creative Awards, who will compete for the grand prizes at the final awards ceremony –
