Deciphering the secrets to unravel a new fact about history lost somewhere in the sands of time. A ‘National Treasure’ series has been given the go-ahead and is slated for 10 episodes.
Jerry Bruckheimer is producing the series with Marianne and Cormac Wibberley penning down the script. All of them have worked together in the National Treasure film franchise. Mira Nair is set to direct this TV Series. Marianne and Cormac Wibberley will also be executive producing this series.
National treasure’s TV series is about to explore different facets of the franchise like issues of identity, community, and patriotism. The series is told from the perspective of Jess Morales, who is a twenty-year-old and sets of on a journey that is filled with twists and adventures as she tries to delve deeper into the family history.
Jess is set to continue the legacy of Benjamin Gates which was played by Nicholas Cage. The National treasure franchise has given us a lot of memories and producing it in a manner fit for a streaming platform and its users are something to be excited about.
Another film is also on the books for the National Treasure franchise on the side.
The National Treasure series has been created for Disney+ and they have also been backing some interesting projects that could boost their streaming platform.
Only time will tell if this series will live up to the hype that is created by the franchise but the entire team that is behind it seems like the perfect recipe for a masterclass.
