Alongside big-ticket releases like Marvel superhero movie ‘Morbius’ and John Abraham’s action flick ‘Attack’, a relatively smaller film, albeit with a big heart, has also made its way to theatres today. We are talking about Taapsee Pannu starrer Telugu film ‘Mishan Impossible’. And now, the film’s post-theatrical OTT rights have reportedly been bagged by the Netflix OTT platform. Stay tuned to Binged for the precise release date of ‘Mishan Impossible’ on Netflix.
‘Mishan Impossible’ also marks Taapsee Pannu’s yet another comeback to the Telugu film industry. The Filmfare award-winning actress had made her feature film acting debut with the Telugu movie ‘Jhummandi Naadam’ in 2010.
Thereafter, she went on to act in other Telugu movies such as ‘Vastadu Naa Raju’, ‘Mr. Perfect’, ‘Veera’, and ‘Mogudu’, before finally making her Bollywood debut with David Dhawan’s comedy film ‘Chashme Baddoor’. The bilingual psychological thriller movie ‘Game Over’ (2019) was the last Telugu film she had acted in.
Coming back to ‘Mishan Impossible’, the film is a comedy thriller whose story revolves around three young boys named Raghupati, Raghava, and Raja Ram who undertake a mission to track India’s most wanted person Dawood Ibrahim for the prize money of Rs. 50 lakh. The film has been directed by Swaroop Rsj, whose last film – the entertaining investigative thriller ‘Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya’ proved to be a critical and commercial hit.
After ‘Mishan Impossible’, Taapsee Pannu’s forthcoming acting projects include the biographical sports film ‘Shabaash Mithu’, Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Dobaaraa’, Ajay Bahl’s horror thriller ‘Blurr’, and Prakash Raj’s directorial ‘Tadka’, which is also her first film as a producer.
