Paramount’s spy actioner ‘Mission Impossible’ starring Hollywood heartthrob Tom Cruise is inarguably one of the most high-profile film franchises globally. The seventh instalment of the highly lucrative film series titled ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’ is set to release in theatres on 12th July. Before that, the film has just made its dazzling premiere at the Spanish Steps in Rome. So, the much-awaited first reactions for the film are out now and here’s what people are saying about the latest Mission film.
In MI-7, Tom Cruise reprises his role as the daredevil agent Ethan Hunt, who teams up with other IMF agents for their most dangerous mission yet while dealing with his own past demons. The globe-trotting mission is to prevent a deadly new weapon from falling into the wrong and powerful hands. Interestingly, the film’s villain is Artificial Intelligence.
And as far as the early reactions for ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’ are concerned, the latest Mission movie has got a big, unanimous thumbs-up from those who have already seen it. While one of the reviewers has called it the best Mission film until now, another one thinks that it’s the best film of the year so far. Most of the watchers agree that Tom Cruise has done it once again and the film is blessed with top-notch production values and mind-blowing set pieces. The film’s action-packed train scene is also being praised and so is Hayley Atwell’s performance.
As per one reviewer, another good thing about ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’ is that it tells a complete story and does not end in a cliffhanger despite the film being the first part of the two-part story – the second one being ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two’, which is set to be released in June 2024. So, overall, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’ has turned out to be a highly successful mission for the film’s director Christopher McQuarrie and lead actor Tom Cruise.
I had the absolute best time watching #MissionImpossible – an impeccably made action film that does not stop entertaining. Each action sequence is long, crazy & intense. The story is big & sprawling, but I like how it both felt complete & left you dying for what comes next pic.twitter.com/iNaKlDMH8l

#MissionImpossibleDeadReckoning is incredible. The fastest 2 hr 30 min movie I’ve seen in a long time. One of the best films I’ve seen this year and @TomCruise has done it again. Demands to be seen on the biggest screen. Cannot recommend this movie enough. pic.twitter.com/GOB1WyX2Mi

#MissionImpossible DEAD RECKONING PART 1: Tom Cruise hates streaming so much he's made an algorithm the villain. And bless his crazy ass, b/c this is a behemoth-sized spectacle, one go-for-broke set-piece after the next, close to FALLOUT excellence. Henry Czerny fans will go nuts pic.twitter.com/Gj7fYdAr8I

#MissionImpossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 is fantastic.
Dynamite, timely story. Excellent new characters. Huge variety of action and a final set piece that ranks top 2-3 all-time for the franchise.
It gets a little dense at times but its pace & intensity more than cover that. pic.twitter.com/prm2wa6ZD6

#MissionImpossibleDeadReckoning this phenomenal! Hayley Atwell STEALS ever scene she’s in. This is now my favorite #missionimpossible film. With the AI being the villain, this feels like a cautionary tale. The action had my heart rate elevated. That train scene is mind blowing! pic.twitter.com/raHLqTwqEO
