The release date for Mohanlal’s upcoming movie ‘Barroz‘ is out now. The movie marks the directorial debut of the superstar and also has him as the lead role of the movie.
‘Barroz’ will have its theatrical release on the 28th of March in 2024. The movie has its cinematography handled by the master Santosh Sivan. The BGM is composed by Mark Kilian from Hollywood and the young talent Lydian Nadhaswaram has also given music in the movie. The full title of the movie is ‘Barroz: Guardian Of Treasures’. It will be releasing in 3D as well.
The movie has its screenplay written by Jijo Punnoose, who is also the writer of the novel, from which the movie is adapted. ‘Barroz: Guardian of D’Gama’s Treasure’, the original novel, tells the story of a treasure Guardian of the titular name, who protects Vasco da Gama’s Treasures for almost 400 years. He is entrusted with the responsibility of handing over the treasure to a true descendent of Vasco da Gama.
Barroz has other actors like Guru Somasundaram, Cesar Lorente Raton, Ignacio Mateos, Kallirroi Tziafeta, Komal Sharma and many others. It has been delayed many times and after the lockdown period, there were several changes in the story as well. It has been a great year for Mohanlal fans and after so many announcements, finally we have the release date for Barroz too. Fans wait for their favorite actor to charm them with his directorial vision as well. Barroz comes to theaters on March 28 in 2024.
