Director Tharun Moorthy entered the Molloywood scheme of things by directing the successful film, Operation Java, released in 2021 wherein he showcased his creative prowess. The movie dived into the machinations of a cyber cell unit and also raised social awareness about important issues such unemployment, all in one masterful stroke. Following this Tharun’s Saudi Vellakka also earned widespread acclaim, going so far as to even become selected for the prestigious Indian Panorama at IFFI 2022. Now, there is exciting news coming from his camp as he is set to take on another magnificent directorial adventure.
Teaming up with the one and only Mohanlal, Moorthy is set to lead the directorial responsibilities for Mohanlal’s 360th film, which is temporarily titled “L360”. Production will be taken care of by M Renjith, under the label of Visual Media banner. This partnership marks a substantial landmark in both of their crafts. As the project has been officially announced, no further details about the genre of the film, or cast members have been divulged.
This is yet another endeavour added to Mohanlal’s already busy schedule, having concluded filming Empuraan, which is a sequel to Lucifer directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. He is also getting ready to dazzle in a number of other new films, namely Rambaan directed by Joshiy, the period drama Vrushabha, and Ram, which is helmed by Jeethu Joseph and the both of them have proven to be an undeniably successful combo. As we wait for further updates regarding L360, Mohanlal is gearing to tear up the silver screens this year with his numerous projects.
