There are not a lot of TV Series which come close to the popularity of the Spanish drama La Casa De Papel or Money Heist.
At a time it was the most-watched series on Netflix and since then, it has created and shattered a lot of records.
The Koreans grabbed this opportunity and decided to remake the show. It was announced last year and now we have a premiere date for the first season.
According to reports the first part which will premiere on June 24 will only have 6 episodes.
The full name of the show is Money Heist: Korea Joint Economic Area. Apart from that, they have also improvised the mass and have given it a typical Korean favour.
The bloodstains on one side of the mask are unexplained as of now. But it looks like the professor of this series has finally chosen its mass and it’s NOT the iconic Dalí mask of the original Spanish series.
The teaser of this series focuses less on the heist and its planning but on the rebellion. It says that those who steal in small magnitude are chased after and end up in jail. But those who do big robberies are hailed as a Hero.
And this time they might be focussing more on that side. But whatever the case may be, Koreans have a big responsibility of showcasing the legacy of the original series.
And it’s worth will be out on June 24.
