Yesterday itself, Netflix India was celebrating #HarDinFilmyOnNetflix on their Twitter handle. In the same trend, they released some stills from their upcoming original film Monica O My Darling. The film stars Rajkummar Rao, Huma Qureshi, and Radhika Apte in the lead role.
After a lot of time, we would see Radhika Apte star in a Netflix original, and seeing her brilliant performances is always a marvel to see.
Regardless, the talented trio is roped in to showcase a seemingly complicated story. Rajkummar Rao is suffering from a crisis where he wants to show his struggle behind the success he is enjoying but is failing to do so.
He is intimated by his secretary played by Huma Qureshi who often tries to control his boss.
The role of Radhika Apte is too vague to guess from the teaser but it should be interesting nonetheless.
However, the closing statement of the teaser by Huma Qureshi is too strong to ignore. It leaves an impression as it says, “Talent nahi, tera story achcha hai”. It means “Not talent, but your story is nice”.
The teaser looks promising but there are not many details out. Thus, we have to wait for the trailer to arrive.
