Netflix has dropped the trailer for its upcoming noir drama ‘Monica, O My Darling’ and it enthrals and entertains at the same time. Helmed by Vasan Bala, ‘Monica, O My Darling’ will premiere exclusively on Netflix on 11th November, 2022.
Giving those retro murder mystery drama vibes, ‘Monica, O My Darling’ trailer follows Jayant Arkhedkar (Rajkumar Rao) who gets entangled in Monica’s (Huma Qureshi) trap after their sexual affair.
Turns out he isn’t the only one getting blackmailed by her. And thus all these men come together to murder Monica and get rid of the problem once and for all. But it ain’t that simple. Things start to get risky and dangerous when police gets involved and starts an investigation about the killing.
Directed by Vasan Bala, written by Yogesh Chandekar and produced by Matchbox Shots, black comedy and white-collar crime collide in ‘Monica, O My Darling’ in which a young man desperately tries to make it big with some unlikely allies and a dastardly diabolical plan to pull off the perfect murder.
A crime drama where survival is the key, ‘Monica, O My Darling’ is a roller coaster of dark and devilish twists and turns. The thriller stars Rajkummar Rao, Huma S Qureshi. Radhika Apte, Sikandar Kher, Bagavathi Perumal, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, Sukant Goel and Zayn Marie Khan.
