More Of Shuri In MCU As Letitia Wright Signs Multi-Movie Deal With Marvel

Marvel over the years has created this massive universe that people have fallen in love with now. Marvel’s very own cinematic universe that we all fondly know as MCU has over the years introduced various characters other than the main Avengers that we all know. It has brought in some of the most important characters that are meant to shape MCU’s future now. Now, as Phase 3 ended, fans saw the sad ending of many of Marvel’s iconic characters, but as we all know, Marvel will let their legacy live on in a whole different way and one of those legacies will be Chadwick Boseman’s “Black Panther”.

Reports are in that Letitia Wright, who plays the iconic character of Shuri, T’Challa’s sister and the Wakandan Princess has apparently signed a multi-film deal that is supposed to start after the completion of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”, which is the sequel of the first Black Panther movie. The upcoming Black Panther sequel will be made in honor of Chadwick Boseman and will showcase his legacy. The movie is set to release next year, and besides the original Wakandans, it is supposed to feature Ironheart, who will be played by Dominique Thorne.

Now, as for the movie, nothing as of yet has been revealed. There’s absolutely no idea as to how Black Panther will be shown this time in the movie. Even if it is being said that the movie will focus more on the nation of Wakanda, fans are clueless as to who and how Black Panther will be portrayed. Now, with Letitia Wright’s film deal being extended, it seems like we will see more of Shuri. It is almost confirmed that Shuri will be making an appearance in the Disney+ series “Ironheart” as well as the Wakanda spin-off series. Now many are thinking that Shuri might get her own movie or series in the future and her inclusion in Avengers 5 will be an important thing to look out for.

Besides that, Wakanda is supposed to make an appearance in Captain America 4, so we are definitely getting Shuri there. As far as the creators in Marvel go, they all have mentioned how Shuri is actually one of the smartest of the lot and her presence will be of great importance in future projects. But the one thing people are desperately waiting to see is if Shuri will take on the mantle of Black Panther because even when it comes to ruling the nation, she is second in line and as far as her connection goes with T’Challa, she is the perfect match for Black Panther. Also, Letitia Wright can be that perfect person who can carry forward Chadwick Boseman’s legacy, because they were not only brother and sister on screen, but off-screen too. They both shared a very close bond.

So, considering all these and future MCU projects, we are definitely getting more of Shuri on Marvel projects and that just opens up more and more doors, as to how the next phases in Marvel pan out.
