Globally renowned movies database entertainment portal IMDb houses a list/widget of the most anticipated new Indian movies and shows (both theatrical and OTT) that ascertains the real-time popularity of that title. This is determined by the number of pageviews these titles are generating on IMDb. Each title is then ranked by IMDb as per the aggregate number of pageviews.
As far as today’s Indian films and shows are concerned, the most anticipated title is Lokesh Kanagaraj’s eagerly anticipated star-studded action flick ‘Vikram’ featuring Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi, and Suriya.
While the second buzziest title is Anubhav Sinha’s socio-political action thriller film ‘Anek’ starring Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role.
And the third spot on the list is held by Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s historical war movie ‘Prithviraj’ featuring Akshay Kumar as the fearless and legendary king Prithviraj Chauhan. The film will ostensibly portray the king’s early life, military achievements, marriage to the beautiful princess Sanyogita and his battle with Muhammad of Ghor.
