Akhil Akkineni‘s Most Eligible Bachelor is announced for October 8th release as Dussehra Special. The makers are planning aggressive promotions in the coming days. Meanwhile, Netflix bagged the Post-theatrical OTT rights of the movie. Netflix has very few Telugu films in its kitty. Nagarjuna’s Wild Dog is the last prominent film that landed on Netflix.
Buzz is that the movie will be streaming on Netflix four weeks after its theatrical release. That means we will see the movie on Netflix in the second week of November. During the COVID second wave, there were rumors that the movie would land up on some OTT for a direct release but the makers have held it and are releasing it in the upcoming festive season.
Most Eligible Bachelor has happening heroine Pooja Hegde as the heroine and is directed by Bommarillu fame Bhaskar. Gopi Sundar has composed music for the film. Akhil has pinned high hopes on the film after he ran into failures with all the three films he acted on so far. He will be seen as an NRI coming from the United States to Hyderabad. The actor has already finished Most Eligible Bachelor and moved on to his next movie – Agent with Surender Reddy.
