RRR is up for worldwide theatrical release on the 7th of January 2022 and the unit is yet to commence offline promotions. While there have been several reports pertaining to Rajamouli’s grand plans to hold promotional events in major cities across India, there hasn’t been any major even till now. With around 40 days to go for the film’s release, the onus is on Rajamouli, and the makers of RRR to amp up the promotional campaign.
December will be a crucial month for RRR unit. The cast and crew will have to make the most of the 30-day period. Holding exciting promotional events, giving interviews to regional and national media, holding at least a couple of grand pre-release events can work wonders for RRR.
There is already a lot of excitement surrounding the film, given the fact that it is Rajamouli’s immediate next release after the epic Baahubali duology. A well-rounded aggressive promotional campaign through the course of December can take the buzz and hype surrounding the film to a whole new level. Getting Charan and Jr NTR actively involved in the promotional campaign at the earliest is of utmost importance.
RRR is expected to be the next big thing in Indian cinema. The entire Indian film industry will be hoping that the Rajamouli directorial will be the film that pulls the pan-India audience to theatres in big numbers. So, the stakes are exceptionally high on the periodic action drama.
