Amazon miniTV has dropped the trailer of its upcoming web series ‘Murder In Agonda’ and its a murder mystery with a twist. An Arré Studio original, ‘Murder In Agonda’ will premiere on Amazon miniTV on Amazon shopping app on 8th April, 2022.
The trailer begins with the news of Mala Coutinho’s (Lillette Dubey) murder and police officer Sanket Salilkar (Asif Khan) seeking a forensic expert’s (Shriya Pilgaonkar) help for the investigation of the mystery behind the crime.
Killed in her sleep inside her home, there’s a lot that’s unknown about Mala’s murder and everybody seems a suspect including family members and house staff. To get to the depth, the police begins to interrogate each and every one and they all seem to tell half truths.
From property inheritance, jealousy to extra marital affair there are multiple motives but the mystery about Mala’s murder remains to be solved. Will the two investigators form Panji crime branch be able to find out who killed Mala Coutinho?
‘Murder In Agonda’ is set in a quite village in Goa where a murder changes everything. Filled with secrets, mysteries, plotting, heartbreaks and chaos, ‘Murder In Agonda’ stars Shriya Pilgaonkar (‘Mirzapur’), Aasif Khan (‘Mirzapur’, ‘Panchayat’), Kubbra Sait (‘Sacred Games’, ‘Dolly, Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare’), Lillete Dubey (‘Kal Ho Na Ho’, ‘Monsoon Wedding’), Asif Ali Beg (‘Love Per Square Foot’), Chrisann Pereira (‘Sadak 2’, ‘Thinkistan’) and Swati Das (‘Skater Girl’, ‘‘Hindi Medium’) among others.
Written by Deeptak Das and Jaya Misra, ‘Murder In Agonda’ is directed by Vikram Rai and produced by Arré Studio. ‘Murder In Agonda’ will start streaming on Amazon miniTV on Amazon shopping app from 8th April, 2022 onwards.
