Anjan Dutt – Hoichoi – Darjeeling – Murder Mystery, it’s like the story lover’s delight. Yes folks, you heard it right. The ace filmmaker – singer – actor Anjan Dutt is the latest to join the OTT bandwagon and he is as usual, coming up with one hell of a delightful content.
Yes, earlier today Hoichoi has unveiled the first look poster of the newest of their contents Murder in the Hills and we must say, by the looks of it, the content does look extremely intriguing and shady. Those who are familiar with Anjan Dutt’s body of work, they already know that Dutt always has a unique approach towards each of his contents, be it a movie, or song or anything. However, OTT and the series is a different ball-game altogether and we believe Anjan Dutt will create the story in an extremely intriguing fashion.
Shot in Darjeeling, one of Dutt’s most favorite places in the planet, the series revolves around a mysterious death of a Bengali film star which goes on to decode the dark side of Darjeeling and connects a lot of grey dots concerning the past and the present of the people associated with the incident. As Anjan Dutt was raised in the mountains of North Bengal and had his schooling from St. Paul’s School in Darjeeling, he mentioned several times in interviews that he holds Darjeeling extremely close to his heart.
Murder in the Hills will feature a long and ensemble cast including Arjun Chakraborty, Rajdeep Gupta, Sourav Chakraborty, Anindita Bose, Suprobhat Das, Sandipta Sen and Rajat Ganguly. The series will be another collaboration between SVF Films and Hoichoi.
As Hoichoi revealed, Murder in the Hills will go live only on Hoichoi on 23rd July, 2021 and with the first look of it, as we mentioned earlier, this is surely going to be an edge-of-the-seat thrill ride.
