Zee5 is finally showing some efforts that can be appreciated in the wild competition that has arisen with big budgets and big glitters. We have always been concerned with the way Zee5 treats its original series. On average, a Zee5 series would usually just be a low budget thing with little to no buzz around.
Although Murshid doesn’t have a great trailer, it still demands your attention if you happen to be a subscriber of Zee5. Just play the trailer once, the background music would be so loud that it would cover up the dialogue and that would be sort of annoying. Even the screenplay is pretty simple. There is a man who used to be a dreaded gangster but now he is a little away from the world of crime. Meanwhile, his son gets kidnapped and the old gangster is trying to re-establish his fear for the sake of his family.
This is pretty much a highly formulaic story that goes along the lines of “hum sharif kya hue poori duniya hi badmash ho gayi”.
The trailer is not worth it and there may be some hope solely due to KK Menon. But let’s hope things turn out better.
